Form Wash & Cure Shipment Delays - Unacceptable

Money is fungible, so there’s no way they could avoid using the pre-order funds to pay for production. I have no idea whether they had the capital to produce the Wash & Cure without these pre-order funds. Even if they did, they can use that money to hire more engineers, etc, instead of having it tied up in production to speed up R&D.

Regardless, my point still stands that pre-ordering (and thus pre-paying) is completely voluntary.

All I can say is, I wish we had customers with your attitude toward money.

And people willingly gave them that money. I don’t get why you are complaining so much about their method when no one forced people to back it and they weren’t devious about it being a pre-pay rather than a reserve. I paid for the privilege of being one of the first to receive the item by pre-ordering and forking up the cash. They are late, yes of course. There are other options on the market and people are free to use those options if they want.

When I contacted Formlabs last week, a rep e-mailed me back and said it would ship out today 12/13. Received notification today with yet another delay with no update on expected ship date. I guess they’re at least trying to provide some minimal notification.

Opps! I meant to say that I ordered Wash + Cure in Sept and received Wash in December.
