I just want to echo and confirm what @Brneznarf said. Our DentalSG material, is used for surgical guides and is not rated for long term intraoral use. Here’s a link to the DentalSG product page that has a bit more information including certifications and a typical workflow.
Using castable resin and a material rated for long-term exposure would be a viable workflow. I’m sure the forums would be interested in seeing your results if you’re able to give that a go.
thanck you for your answer, yes, I know what you explain a lost wax process
but what I mean is to use some materials for direct monolithic additive process for temporary crown and some materials are avaikable : E-dent (Envisiontech) , NextDent C&B, MFH Temporis…
Looking at purchasing the Form 2 for printing castable crowns/ copings.
I have heard from recommendation that using the clear resin achieves more successful results than using the castable resin, as there is less deformation.
Has anyone tried this method?
Has anyone any experience of using this printer for printing castable crowns/ bridges ?
