Clear, biocompatible resin wanted

I am looking for a clear, slightly flexible, biocompatible (at least biocompatible I ) resin to print thin skins. The resin should be able to print 0,5mm thin

Anyone have any idea?

The only biocompatible transparent resin by Formlabs is currently Dental LT. You can order a sample print and decide whether this resin meets your expectation. Printing a 0,5mm film could be tricky, never tried it, Maybe you should have a look on 2K transparent silicones with fda certification.

I know this isn’t exactly what you asked for but maybe it will help. I was exploring food-safe options a while back when I wanted to 3D print chocolates. The best I could come up with was to print a mold, seal it with a food-safe coating, (optionally use it to make a mold out of 100% food-safe material), and use that as a mold for the chocolates.

Let me know if you come up with any more bio-compatible solutions!

Maybe NextDent IBT (Indirect Bonding Tray). I use it on my Sprintray 3D printer and the final product is clear, flexible and biocompatible (not sure which classification). Also not sure about the 0.5mm thinness, but it should work ok.

If yo had some available, I would try the Dental SG settings in Open Mode.

Cheers!
