I have some goo that is the by-product of distilling our IPA to recover it. The IPA/Resin “wash” was heated up during distillation to max liquid temp of 75C. (my heaters max’d at 200C which were in indirect contact to the pot holding the wash).
QUESTION: Does anyone know if that much prolonged heat destroys the resin so it is not possible to cure it to a solid (or like solid). The goo is a mixture of the remnants of many resins including flexible, durable, tough(s), rigid, elastic, clear, white, black, draft, color kit. Maybe others. . I am having a difficult time getting it cure all using direct sunlight or our CUREbox.
