It has been nearly two years since the Form4 was released. I’m planning to buy a robot recently, but I’m worried about whether the new Form5 will come out soon. I’m sure the Form5 will be even better than the Form4, just like when the Form4 was launched two years ago.
Much like the threads on Fuse 2, it’s not likely someone from Formlabs would disclose Form 5 coming out casually as the product release state is limited knowledge, you have to wait for the public announcements or look for hints. I think Form 4 and Form 4L are capable as they are now and the ecosystem is being improved on (Cure V2, Tough V2, PreForm updates).
I would guess the next machine may be on the SLS front as Formlabs CPO disclosed in his AMA that one of the Micronics guys is leading the development of a new product.
