Intelligent support builds, to save time & tank life?

What about an option for building supports at say 100µ by default, even if the product is at say, 25µ?

So let’s say all supports are at say 4mm, but you’re doing a build at say 25µ..
That’s 160 layers currently (at 25µ). anywhere from 20-40 minutes (i’m guessing on a ~ 20-30 second average per layer at 25µ, though that number could be wildly off)..

You could have it done in 40 layers (at 100µ), if you had the ability to have supports built at 100µ (up to the base layer of the build)..

The time savings on a 4mm example would be ~ 30-40 minutes, just in time savings.
Additionally this could extend tank life by significant margin, if every print had 50-100 less layers per project.

Of course, this would ONLY work up to the layer at which the product begins - then it would have to revert to whatever the file was produced at…

Certain resins like tough 1500 have an “adaptive” layer thickness, which does just this. I don’t know why other resins can’t though.
