After months of late nights, prototypes, and creative chaos, I’m excited to share my first full-length YouTube video: a behind-the-scenes look at how I built the DeForm 1—a fake Formlabs product that does the exact opposite of 3D printing.
What started as an April Fools’ idea turned into a fully functional (and very real) machine designed to unmake ideas—with blender guts, a Form 1 shell, and a leaf blower for good measure.
In this video, I walk through the full design, fabrication, and problem-solving process behind the project, from failed vinyl wraps to surprise part survivals.
Big thanks to everyone at Formlabs who supported the idea, and to my Patreon community for helping make projects like this possible.
