Form 3 biocompatible after firmware update?

I have three Form 3 printers of which the oldest one prints all biocompatible materials. It is not a Form 3B; it is just an older Form 3 from the time before the 3B was launched.

If I now update its firmware, will my 2019 Form 3 printer still print biocompatible resins?

My guess is no because Formlabs likes to lock that stuff down and charge for it.

Hi @rogiervdheide Thanks for reaching out! Updating your firmware will not impact your ability to print with biocompatible resins. As you have an early Form 3 with the capability to print with our biocomp materials, then you will always have the capability to print with those materials on your machine.
