Now there’s plenty of processing power to spare, as well as a nice big screen and a touch UI, having a timer or countdown function built into the printer would be kinda neat.
Preset to 10 minutes, but with the ability to + or - it to a different value.
I think there’s a law somewhere that says if the device can display the time of day, it must. And that it also must forget the time and flash 12:00am obnoxiously after each and every time the power flickers. And when daylight-savings time comes it can’t adjust itself. 
LOL, but since this is the 2016. it should have an NTP client (and be susceptible to NTP amplification DDOS attacks).
