Hi everyone i was wondering do we need to have the prints in a light cure box for the full hour? could we use less time?
Dental Model will see improvements in mechanical properties after being fully post-cured for one hour. Post-curing is important for completing any unfinished photo-polymerization reactions and could be important if Dental Model is being used to interface with something like DentalSG which is meant to be bio-compatible. If the parts are only being used visually and mechanical properties as well as bio-compatibility are irrelevant, fully post-curing won’t modify the aesthetics.
