Hi all,
I’ve been looking for a nice durable finish alternative to painting my prints.
I stumbled upon this product https://www.cerakote.com/ that seems to work well with firearm (Glock polymers).
The only caveat is the coating needs to be heat cured at 150F-180F for 2 hours.
So a couple of questions for those experienced.
- Can I safely heat my cured standard resin for 2 hours at 150F without deformation of my model?
2.Are there fumes produced from standard resin at this temperature?
Thanks for any advice!
