OK I apologize for the rant but I would think at a street cost of 175 each cartridge, formlabs should be able to sell a cartridge that can consistently identify itself to the machine. My problem isn’t the machine itself having a dirty contact, its that the cartridges themselves (about 1 in 4) are so drastically inconsistent that many fail to identify themselves, or (worse), they repeatedly stops prints because the printer thinks it was removed. Sure, I can get around it by transferring resin older empties (whose sensors are still fine) but then I have to constantly override the level warnings. These tanks are too expensive to be this unreliable. Gahh!
