Want to Create Flexible Outdoor Web-like ProtoType

Rob,

I’ll get my drawing of the product notarized, then I would as you (?-I think it was) suggested reach out to Shapeways (?) to see if they can get me a quote? Or when I hear back from my local community college, maybe go with a local person, but only after signing an NDA. This will get me off on the right track. Really appreciate the h

You don’t have to reach out to Shapeways to get a quote. You just have to create an account and upload the model files and their system will tell you how much it’ll cost to print with the material you select. Cheapest material is PLA plastic I think. Most expensive would probably be Gold.

Ok then. Well gold is out. It has to be a rubbery flexible but not floppy material, but that will come later. I have not heard back from my Community college about getting a file made, and I don;t know CAD software so if I need that first I need to find someone to create a file. And that means I will probably have to meet them in person to show them and speak to them about the shape and dimensions from a 3 Dimensional perspective. Not sure how that is done, since I am a newbie to this

hahahahaha. Thank you for this.
