As a Dr. Who fan, I’ve been eyeing sonic screwdriver props for a while. I realized that it would be more fun to create my own by 3D printing the case, assembling the electronics, and then painting the result. This sonic screwdriver lights up and plays a sound effect when its button is pressed. It also has an RFID key fob that can unlock electronic doors!
Since I didn’t find any models or tutorials that met my needs, I’ve documented my process and made my files available here so that you can make your own sonic screwdriver.
