We’re excited to launch PreForm API v1 (beta), PreForm scripting (in the Insider Program), the new Formlabs Python SDK and the Developer Portal.
You can execute common PreForm actions like orienting, adding supports, laying out, checking printability and sending jobs to a printer, from a few lines of Python. You can now also watch your scripts run live in PreForm and access new endpoints for mesh repair, splitting meshes, regenerating supports, full print-time breakdowns, job metadata and print-setting validation.
