I am a Celtic multi-instrumentalist from the Pacific Northwest, playing Irish wooden flute, pennywhistle, and many kinds of world bagpipes. I also sing and like to opine on instrument design.

Currently, I prototype and manufacture Irish pennywhistles using 3D printing, and I am also working on designs for several different kinds of bagpipes. It’s my opinion that accessible CAD, CNC, and additive manufacturing are essential to preserving these living traditions in the future.
