I do love this idea too, however it has been suggested many times before [here](http://forum.formlabs.com/t/customizable-z-resolution/9575/2), [here](http://forum.formlabs.com/t/variable-z-resolution-on-same-part/8946) and [here](http://forum.formlabs.com/t/different-layers-resolutions/16255) to link just a few.

The overall consensus was that it is a great idea, but not going to be implemented any time soon.
