# Using a 3rd party cast able wax

Hi Everyone  
I have been the proud owner of a form 2 for about 3.5 years now.  
I would like to experiment with open mode a bit specifically wit the B9 Emerald wax.  
However I have never used open mode.  
Is there a proper tutorial anywhere? where do i insert the new setting?  
Also i noticed a message on form labs website that open mode cannot be used with castable waxes? what does this mean and why?  
Also does anyone have any experience with the B9 Emerald wax?
