# Unavailable device detected/driver not properly installed

Trying to use Form 3B with non-network desktop via USB, but keep getting “unavailable device detected” error in PreForm software (see attached photos). Software and firmware are updated. Window OS is windows 7 64bit. The printer can connect to another laptop via USB. Apparently there is some issue with the software of the desktop but I cannot figure out why. Any ideas?

Maybe try a different USB cable, or a different USB port?
