I print railway wagons, basically a thin-walled open box with fine components sticking out of the bottom.
I’ve not found a supplier of small quantities of TPM in the UK, so I’ve been using DPM as a substitute. The cleaning process is 8-10 minutes in DPM in. a Wash, then about half a minute agitation in a water bath with some detergent in it. The pieces are then set to dry, for at least a day, sometimes more.
The piece will be square when removed from the water bath but then warp while they are being dried. If I model them with the floors in place the sides move inwards, and if they are modelled without the floors they move outwards.
Can anyone who has used DPM suggest what is happening here?
