I’m having trouble with getting the thread detail on a screw I’m printing with High Temp V2. The profile is not like the model. Any thoughts on how to improve this? Thanks.

Have you tried printing with the head of the screw on the build plate? Looks like there’s some bleeding going on (loss of detail on threads) because of the opacity of the resin.
There’s a new feature in print settings called z bleed compensation that might help you with this exact issue ![]()
Thanks for the reply, but I’m using a Form 3 and its not available?
I reprinted the parts with one angled at 45° and the other vertical. As expected the one vertical came out much worse?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks.
Oh I didn’t realize it wasn’t available for Form 3s, sorry!
@Andrew_W I’m sorry to hear that you’re having some issues printing this model. The first thing I notice is that the threads are not a standard thread design. Due to the threads being more “rounded” and the light bleed from the material, it’s not the best file to expect that it won’t require lots of post-processing to work. We’d be happy to take a deeper look at how we can dial this in a bit. The easiest way to do that is to open a support case so we can get some logs and the inner workings of the printer.
