S.O.S buildplatform prevents lid to open

i need help…
i finished my first print and im happy with it… but i cant open the lid all the way back…
is really frustrating, because i cant remove the platform to put the piece in alcohol… can someone help me…
is there a way to manually move the z axis???
how long can the pieces stay there without any intervention…
thanks…
dan

the pictures above show the lid open as far as the buildplatform allows…
i’m sure there must be a step i’m missing…
???
please let me know if this has happened to you… or if you have any idea to solve this issue
thanks
dan

I’m guessing that the build platform was not pushed on all the way before clamping it down but then how did it close? Maybe it is so loose it vibrated forward while printing? I dont know thats a new one! Try to reach in and see if you can push it back I guess.

thanks Vince, I thought about that… I tried reaching and pushing, but it seems to be all the way back…
are you aware of any way to lower the build platform?
thank you!
dan

Hello, Daniel

You can rotate by hand the spindle

@Freddy_Seibel
thanks Freddy…but i don’t know where the spindle is or how to rotate it…
would you mind expanding on that topic for me…???

Hello, Daniel

You can see in the photo, on which side you have to rotate the spindle. So, you can lower the platform.
But first take off the power cord.
At the turn of the printer calibrate again.

Hello, Daniel

Try if you can open the bracket by the platform with your hand and you push the platform backwards.
I’m sorry for my bad English.

Freddy

nothing wrong with your english Freddy…
thanks for the diagrams…all done!
i think i was just worried about how hard to push the platform…
i just want to treat the machine with love…!
thanks so much…
