# Real Elastomer material

I really need a simulant for real elastomers like Santoprene Shore A40.

I do a lot of product design that uses overmold materials or rubber materials that exhibit elongation properties and not just compression.

I realize this is the holy grail for SLA materials, but somebody has to be working on it?

What is the latest word on the developments of a truly elastomeric resin?

I typically use my Form3 to make casting tools and pour liquid silicone in the needed durometer as a casting process avoiding the SLA.
