Form3 printing better with software and firmware updates.
I have updated my Preform to 3.3.2, and Form3 firmware to rc-1.4.8.511. The latest print turned out much nicer, and the print time estimate was available. The estimate said it would take 6.5 hours, and it took 8 hours. The timeline estimate was actually pretty close. The extra 1.5 hours included filling a new tank with Tough resin and warming the case up. All the components started from 16C (60F), so there is always at least a half hour of warmup time, in my shop.
The print was free of blemishes. It wasn’t the smoothest I’ve ever seen, but it was acceptable.
