Practical 3D on a Sunday

On Sunday my wife started the garbage disposal and it went bang. It turns out it swallowed a small Pyrex mixing glass. When it shattered it jammed everything and we had to take it apart. So right after I drew a grate to keep large things out. I wanted 3 touch points and a spring-loaded design. I didn’t spend any time planning it, I just started drawing. It took like 10 minutes. It turned out looking awesome and fitting perfect. All on a Sunday night. That’s a great example of a 3D printer being practical and handy.

That is AMAZING! (and yet so simple) We have the same issue with baby bottle nipples and parts.

Mind sharing the .form file?

It was designed for a 3&3/8" hole, so scale as needed.
