Pink areas showing after processing parts

After processing parts adding supports I notice some pink (coral colored) areas around certain portions of the part showing on the Preform graphic of the parts…
Is this a warning sign of some sort… something that might affect the print?

Preform is indicating that the area may need some additional support. You should look at those layer areas. If you determine that an additional support is needed, you should add one or two.

Preform sometimes shows areas like that in error. If you are unsure, post up a picture and we can assist with our opinions.

Thanks very much for the info. I had a feeling it was something like that but was unable
to find any documentation regarding it. At any rate, I built the parts and they turned out
well. But thank you for describing the reason for that color variance.
