Partial Porosity using castable resin

Hello Everyone. This is my first attempt of using castable resin.

As you can see this is a bronze part and the first quarter (near the tree) is perfect and non porous. The other 3/4 are a mess. What could be causing the problem?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Looks to me that the closer you are to the sprues the hotter the metal and the better the burnout. The further away you are the cooler the metal and the burnout is less complete. I would say the metal isn’t staying hot enough long enough to cook off the resin in that area. You maybe need a “drain” at the bottom of the part so the metal can flow through this area a bit instead of just pooling and cooling… What does the model look like?
