# Form 3L Tank Volume

Does anyone know how much resin a Form 3L tank holds? I seem to recall it’s about 3/4 of a cartridge but hoping someone has taken a more precise measurement.

Formlabs Support answered this one for me: It’s actually 1.5 liters.

Thanks for this (old thread - sorry) I wondered as I have two draft resin cartridges loaded and I have done some test prints of little items. I wanted to start another print but the tanks both read empty. I was hoping the machine had a means of indicating what was inside the tank/tray.
