Form 3 prints stuck to tank film

Howdy. Recently acquired my new form 3, and so far it’s great. All calibration and test prints come out nicely. But I am running into a problem.

I am trying to print a piece of WR-90 waveguide, and about halfway through the print doesn’t peel from the tank. It’s a long straight tube that is roughly 1"x.75". It is hollow with think walls. I have cleaned the tank, and I did unfortunately use IPA. Not sure if that’s the cause. Can provide pictures if needed.

Any help appreciated!

Hi @ApexiaLLC , sorry to read you’re having issues with your Form 3! Yes, we do advise against cleaning the tank with IPA so that’s not ideal, however, the orientation of your .form-file can also contribute to a print failure. Since we’d need a few more details to be able to help you properly, such as the serial name of your printer, the .form-file you are trying to print, possibly a short video of what’s happening, please open a support case here and one of my colleagues will reach out to you.

Have you placed the part directly on the platform? that could be an issue, about cleaning with IPA you can try windex instead, but in my experience(5 years using F3, 8 using f2) cleaning with IPA will not kill anything unless it’s done on a regular basis. sometimes you really need to clean with it, and it’s he best solvent for resin.
