# Force seam line location

I have a part that will need both light engines, but i want the seam line to be at 1/3rd, not in the middle. Is there a way to force it to use 1 light engine for the majority of the part, instead of split it down the middle?

Thank you for reaching out about the Form 3L seam line and controlling it. There are new options in Preform 3.29 that give Form 3L users more control over the seamline on the printer.
