New to SLA printing. When I load up my file and position it in the software, I notice that my file is pushed to the corner of the build platform most of the times. Where is the master control for positioning in the formlabs software?
Assuming you were using the automatic positioning, I know of no way to influence the positioning algorithm. This shouldn’t be neccesary, however, as Formlabs usually know what they’re doing - a lot of work by very clever people went into all these algorithms. The parts are oriented like they are to avoid warped parts, to minimize the peeling forces etc.
You can position your parts manually any time you wish to do so. I wouldn’t recommend doing so, however, unless you have a good reason for this.
