I know the topic has been covered and the reason (incorrect support and/or orientation) known - nevertheless I just wanted to share a picture with you.
I needed two identical prints and thus just copied an auto-oriented/auto-supported print so two would be printed. It turned out that they craced in exactly the same place and way! Most fascinating - but on the other hand I guess it just proves that physics is working… I then reoriented the print in two different ways (still using the auto-tool), and the prints came out perfect!
Failed two prints on top, successful at the bottom.
Should you (or Formlabs to evolve the auto-orientation/support tool) want the form-files that would of course be no problem.
