Replacement of lens set or Galvo system to produce thinner laser of focus much less than 300 micron. I think there are demands in getting smaller features such as jewelry or miniature.
If you really need to print small parts then consider also buying this (http://www.nanoscribe.de/) It looks like it could make some small features for you. 
Be sure to order that high powered microscope too.
