# Acrylic paints work well with clear resin prints

After good luck with white Krylon Fusion as a base coat, I had nice results using simple Testors acrylic paints for this birdcage. Looking forward to the gray resin! Cheers, Jason

Very nice! About how big is that birdcage and bird, anyway? If it’s really very tiny, you have some steady hands. 😃

Was it painted through the bars?

thanks! shoot, i can’t find a ruler in my office. as you can see in the (blurry, sorry) picture, it’s a bit smaller than a golf ball. i’ve printed them much, much tinier than this but NOT painted those!

-and yes, i painted it through the bars 🙂
