A question about casting with the castable wax

I haven’t used this resin yet. I’ll have stones in the pieces and I’ve modeled the setting to fit really well. With other processes such a molding or printing with a different printer, I’ve increased my model size slightly, say by 2-3.75% and it’s worked. Would I need to increase my model size using the castable wax and casting from it? I’d ask the caster, but it’s holidays and no one is in town right now.

Hi Kathleen,
I use castable wax every weeks for printing and casting fine jewelry. With my experience, I would suggest to add only 1% to 2% if the model is not really big. I hope it will work in your case.
